What is your position?
Operations and Customer Service

What does it mean to you?
Being involved with Customer Service to me is all about understanding that most people view reaching out to a company as a hassle or a pain. I don’t think that it has to be that way and I try to make the experience a positive one for everyone who contacts us. Operations on the other hand is all about knowing what’s going on and trying to learn everything you can about how to improve everything.

What gets you excited about Tango Card?
I’m excited to get the chance to be a part of a new and up and coming company. Where I not only get to be a part of – but also get to help shape the great culture we have here.

What’s the most rewarding experience you’ve had at Tango Card?
We had a customer call in once who needed help with a large Tango Card they had received from their corporate office. They didn’t know how best to divide the card up among their employees so instead I helped them redeem the gift card into a set of large Chili’s gift cards and 1800-Flowers gift cards which they used to cater and throw a party for their office. It felt good to be able to help that customer out so they could spread the joy around.

Favorite App/website to boost productivity?
Evernote – I collect all sorts of things there.

Favorite App/website to “take breaks”?
Stitcher. I love to listen to podcasts. Its an opportunity to learn about new things and ideas.
