Survey Says: Research Participants Want Rewards

One of our customers is a worldwide leader in traditional and online qualitative and quantitative research. They engage with research participants to complete surveys for market research. In order to incentivize participants, this market research firm incentivizes completion with gift cards. Unhappy with their previous reward fulfillment partner’s high cost/fees and poor program support, they turned to Tango Card for a solution. We sat down with a Consultant there to learn about how Tango Card helped lower costs and increase customer support for recipients.

How do you work with Tango Card?

We’re integrated with the RaaS API.

How do you send rewards to and for what reason?

We send rewards to research participants for completing surveys.

What kind of rewards do you use?

Gift cards and cash cards (e.g. PayPal, visa, bitcoin)

Prior to working with Tango Card, how were rewards fulfilled?

 We had another fulfillment partner.

Before working with Tango Card, did you experience any challenges?

  • High fees/costs with fulfillment
  • It took too long for rewards to be delivered
  • Customer support for reward recipients was lacking
  • Program support from reward provider was lacking
  • Reward selection was limited

Now that you work with Tango Card, what improvements have you experienced?

Since partnering with Tango Card, we’ve seen the following improvements:

  • Reduction in time managing/fulfilling rewards
  • Reduction in cost
  • Increase in responses from research participants
  • Rewards delivered faster or more on-time
  • Improved customer service
  • Better program support from Tango Card

Please share why digital gift cards are valuable to your company.

We conduct both quantitative and qualitative research, online and in-person. We needed a solution to cover all these aspects.

What are some benefits you’ve seen since partnering with Tango Card?

We’ve been able to offload virtually all support to Tango Card which makes it easier and faster for recipients to get assistance. Tango Card’s onboarding process is so much easier than the provider we just left, which made training our staff easier. The support for our staff and those receiving cards is awesome. Customer service must be a high priority at Tango [Card]; it shows.
